About Steve Jackson
Financial Planning Philosophy
With a background in banking, insurance, and business, I have developed a philosophy of a holistic, comprehensive financial management approach with the goal of achieving my client's financial well-being. This approach is based on working with a client's investments, insurance, tax planning, and estate planning, rather than focusing solely on investments, as is the case with many advisors.
By focusing solely on investments, many individuals and advisors miss out on opportunities or compound many existing problems. Even savvy investors often fail to take advantage of qualified strategies and trip up on the details.
With my clients, I strive to provide the holistic financial planning strategies that include areas that are often overlooked and neglected.
- Insuring correct ad updated beneficiary designation structures
- Awareness of custodial rules that apply to IRAs
- Appropriate strategies for accumulating and distributing retirement assets in a tax-efficient way
- Protecting assets from the ravages of Long Term Care expenses, loss of purchasing power due to inflation and an individual's longevity
- Providing and Implementing proven strategies to preserve and transfer assets to family or chosen charity
- Working together to develop an organized system to locate and manage your financial, legal, and insurance documents, as well as pass on personal values and family goals
